Styling Out - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Burberry, 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' London Premiere

The new leading actress of the upcoming third Transformers movie looked so elegant in this simple plunge silk dress by Burberry with a sparkling black back strap. The English model's beauty matches that of former Transformers siren Megan Fox and her looks are certainly complimented in this ensemble.

CFDA Fashion Awards 2011

The Council of Fashion Designers of America awards took place in New York earlier this week and the famous guests attended in fighting fashion force.

Fl@unt takes a look...

COLOUR BLOCK - Alessandra Ambrosio in Prabal Gurung, Chanel Iman in Max Azria

Alessandra looks absolutely stunning in this unfussy gown absorbed in sultry red complimented with a thick silver neck cuff - strange accessory but it works!
Chanel lets her hair hang loose and keeps her make up in natural tones allowing the colour of her dress to do the talking.

DARK AND DRAMATIC - Lucy Liu in Monique Lhuillier

Lucy Liu showcases another beautiful black feathered creation and although the dress is in such a dark colour, this outfit certainly gives off a fairytale feeling.

LIGHT AND FEMININE - Kerry Washington in Calvin Klein, Sessilee Lopez in Zac Posen

Kerry's beauty appears so fresh here, looking pure and untouched in this heavenly white sheath dress, while Sessilee looks a vision in her glamorous hair and make-up alone. She is a model queen in this sleeved gown.

SUITED AND BOOTED - Leelee Sobieski in Adam Kimmel, Kirsten Dunst in Patrick Ervell

Wearing her menswear designer husband's suit creation Leelee changes up the fashion trend of dresses on the carpet, which Fl@unt is grateful for. Her slight, less feminine features means she can pull of the suited look.
This maybe Fl@unt's favourite look of the night. Kirsten looks so different from what we're used to seeing of her! And that's why we love it. This tuxedo is sharp yet strongly feminine, great look.

HAIR AND MAKE-UP: VIBRANT COLOUR MASKING - Alessandra Ambrosio and Lady Gaga

Two completely different looks on the carpet, however both women trend a strong red lip, naked eyes and well defined eyebrows - Alessandra goes for the vixen stare while Lady Gaga strikes an ice queen pose.

SPECIAL MALE MENTION...Gerard Butler

It appears the '300' star has cleaned himself up looking trim and rather dapper as he attended the awards with  a grown out 'do. A good look.

HOT LOOK: SHINY ANIMAL PRINT

Sported by new Transformers 3 actress Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Lily Collins at this year's MTV Movie Awards, this new take on the animal print is a hot fashion pick by celebrities at the moment. Fl@unt has noticed that animal print never seems to go out of fashion, its just the way its worn that changes and this time round, the trend is to wear shiny prints as a dress.

     Accentuated Hip                                          Hang Loose

So now summer has reached us, let your shiny prints catch the sun while at night this glistening style is sure to make your party dress stand out!

Styling Out - Emma Watson, Marchesa, MTV Movie Awards Afterparty

Fl@unt might just have found Emma Watson's best fashion move in this absolutely stunning acid yellow plunge dress by Marchesa, perfectly matched with a strong orange lip - and we thought Emma couldn't top herself in the fashion stakes! Truly a fashion gem.

CANNES FASHION SHOWDOWN

The French Film Festival may have recently finished but the looks modelled this year on the Cannes red carpet will certainly be remembered.

Here's a recap of Fl@unt's favourite looks:

BEST HAIR & BEAUTY STYLING

     CHERYL COLE                                   GWEN STEFANI

It seems that Cheryl took note of her rather bad fashion choices for her first appearance on the US X Factor and completely transformed herself into a sleek, simple white number with vampy lipstick and smoky eyes - and her hair has been slicked into a ponytail! Never thought we'd see the day...

Gwen follows the vamped up look with dramatic deep blue eye shadow and her trademark red lipstick. She looks flawless here and her bouffant hair further enhances this beautifully bold make up style.

FL@UNT FASHION HITS

KIRSTEN DUNST Chloe                       AISHWAYRA RAI Elie Saab

Kirsten indulges herself in citrus colours here fl@unting this gorgeous chiffon dress complimented with deep peach lips.

Making you stand to attention, Aishwayra Rai is simply a vision here in this beaded off-the-shoulder gown. What a goddess.

CHERYL COLE Roberto Cavalli  /GWEN STEFANI Stella McCartney

Cheryl looks absolutely stunning in this fishtail evening gown - a more modest look we don't usually see from her, yet still sexy. So she hasn't lost her sense of style after all! Phew.

Another great sassy hair & make-up look for Gwen making her stand out from the rest on the red carpet helped also by this beautiful cutout, shiny embellished body suit.

PENELOPE CRUZ Marchesa

The Number One look from Cannes this year has to be Penelope Cruz in this breathtaking fairytale creation by Marchesa. The layering of lilac chiffon over intricately beaded nude underlining is gorgeous and unlike anything Fl@unt has seen before. We especially love the ruffled sleeves as well as Penelope's shortened fringe. Perfection.

SPECIAL FASHION NOTE... RACHEL MCADAMS

Along with her new man, British actor Michael Sheen, Canadian actress Rachel McAdams showed off her unbreakable red carpet style at this years Cannes festival, revealing a number of fashion moments as she promoted her movie 'Midnight in Paris'.

Here's Fl@unt's favourite looks from her:

Marchesa Lace Drapery

Monique Lhuillier Feminine Trouser Suit

Costume Institution Met Gala 2011

Just about every famous face you can think on put on their most dramatic frocks all in aid of the annual fashion event of the year - the Costume Institution Met Gala, held in New York.

This is the chance for us to sort the successful Fl@unters from the fashion failures as we explore who matched the high fashion criteria this year. Let's get going...

TOP FASHION MOMENTS OF THE NIGHT

Jennifer Lopez This look shows Fl@unt appeal to the maximum. Fl@unt is blown away by how gorgeous JLo looks adorned in a radiant combination of strong pink and red - colours we don't often see her in. The red lips enhance the already vibrant colours and the flower shrug elevates the dress into high fashion mode.

Lucy Liu The feather bustier teamed with sheer skirt fits the fashion forward dress code perfectly and the black colour only adds more amazing dramatic effect.

Diane Kruger Absolutely stunning in this look, Diane shows she ain't afraid to show some leg - who said high fashion can't be sexy?

Christina Ricci It's understandable why some may dislike this dress, however Fl@unt believes Christina hits the mark exactly here as she follows the dramatic dress code fashionably well. The Gala is about dressing up, breaking through the boundaries of fashion - where else would Christina get a chance to adorn this look? One of her best looks to date.

THE RIGHT LOOK

Rihanna A vision particularly from the back, this lacy reveal is sexy and suggestive and yet the floor length of the gown adds a touch of demure along with the chandelier earrings and vamp red lipstick.

Mary-Kate Olsen An example of bohemian-style on the red carpet, the movement of this dress brings a different look to the event and the clashing combination of red with green cuffs and neckline successfully sets the look off.

Solange Knowles 'Modern tribal' describes the look Solange has been sporting of late and this dress is no exception. She lets her natural hair free raising the look further.

Miranda Kerr A playful angelic beauty in this tutu dress - one of the few raised hemlines sported at the event this year.

Fergie She looks like a princess, or a bride even, ready to be married. This intricately designed dress with lace and beaded detail is heavenly and Fergie makes sure her accessories and make up are applied to match.

MISSING THE MARK

Taylor Swift This dress probably looked better on the catwalk, but here the skirt just hangs off Taylor losing shape and the inclusion of black netting and underskirt looks random. Not working.

Beyonce She likes her fishtail skirts doesn't she? While B looks nice, we've seen this look too many times before. It's just predictable which is not what this event is about - try harder next time Ms Knowles.

Keri Hilson Whatever happened to Keri Hilson's style? She used to rock it at public events and now it seems she has lost her fashion mojo. The dress could have worked better if she hadn't matched her make up so identically.

Demi Moore Too many black feathers and no structure or direction. She looks like a lost crow - someone please send her back to her nest.
